At exactly thirteen minutes after midnight on Saturday, the stunning Israeli actress Gal Gadot took to Twitter to share an exclusive sneak peek of her highly anticipated film,
Wonder Woman
, scheduled to hit theaters in 2017. In the captivating photo, Gadot can be seen cloaked in mystery, exuding a powerful presence, as she dons a remarkable set of armor. Accompanying the image was a concise caption that read, “After almost 75 years in the making… #WonderWoman is finally coming to life.” Taking charge behind the camera is director Patty Jenkins, while the film also boasts a star-studded cast including the talented Chris Pines from Star Trek and the remarkable Robin Wright from House of Cards.
However, fans can anticipate Gadot’s first appearance in her superhero outfit in March 2016 film, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” The movie features Ben Affleck as the wealthy and caped vigilante Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill as the hero who probably has the least convincing alter ego disguise, Clark Kent, with his glasses.
Prior to her appearance in the thrilling movie, the 30-year-old ex-beauty queen of Israel expressed to Interview magazine her reluctance to take on the typical Hollywood role of a vulnerable woman in need of rescue. Instead, Gadot, hailing from Rosh HaAyin, refuses to conform to the cliche of the helpless damsel in distress.
